On Monday 1st August 2017 I attended the Limes Country Lodge Hotel to deliver a keynote to share my experiences on what it is like running an events business in Birmingham. I gave the good, the bad and the ugly highlighting everything from the late nights working on proposals to actually being onsite delivering the event.

 

The event, organized by Simone from the Deux Bells Event Services Company welcomed delegates from all over the event sector that included photographers, venue sellers, event recruiters, AV suppliers and students who are looking to go into the events sector. The event also featured a keynote from David Woodcock of PSP who delivered his tips on running a seamless event that also had some invaluable nuggets, even for a seasoned event professional like myself.

 

The event was a great event and yet again I was humbled to be invited as a keynote speaker on the inaugural event. I am looking forward to attending the next one on Wednesday 4th October as a delegate.
